The RCMP in Manitoba says it has made the largest seizure of marijuana in Canada.
Last weekend, Mounties were conducting a routine stop of commercial vehicles near West Hawk when they uncovered 925 pounds of vacuum packed pot, and 75 pounds shatter, oils and edibles among a load of legitimate food products.
The driver was arrested and the drugs and trailor unit were seized. 46 year old Claudiu Huber from British Columbia has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The semi-trailor had originated in the lower mainland of B.C. and was bound for southern Ontario.
