A Red Lake artist hits the national stage this weekend.
The work of Cheryl Wilson-Smith is on display at the Salt Spring National Art Prize Exhibition in B.C.
Her submission is a 4 by 4 layered glass sculpture.
Wilson-Smith says it’s a great honour to be recognized and it should give other northwestern Ontario artists more motivation to showcase their work.
She’s also up for a national award, with the winner to be announced October 24th.
