A fixture in the development of Red Lake is calling it quits.
Chief Administrative Officer Brian Anderson retires today after 38-years on the job.
Anderson says the municipality has come a long way, especially in the last 10-years.
Anderson points to upgrades at the Arena and Centennial Park as well as numerous road improvements.
He says the growth of the municipality has been incredible and stresses the future looks bright for Red Lake.
He notes the growth rate will be fast with the Rubicon and Cochenour mines set to come on-line in the next two years.
Anderson adds he’ll miss working with staff and council the most.
