Major enhancements to the waterfront on Howey Bay in Red Lake.

Mayor Phil Vinet stresses their summer season depends on their docks.
Vinet says the area has become a major addition for the Norseman Festival, Red Lake Walleye Classic, day-to-day activities and the downtown core.
He notes the old ones were destroyed by tough winters and springs.
The province recently announced $78,000 in funding to help off-set some of the costs to compete the waterfront development project.
