‘What I Learned from Cancer’
That’s the name of the best-selling book written by Dennis Maione, who will be in Dryden the next two days to discuss his 20-year journey through treatment.
Maione says he will be talking about trying to find hope and answers.
He says patients need to come to the table and hold physicians accountable when it comes to their future.
Maione notes they should be asking questions about alternatives and treatment schedules and understand what the important things in life are for.
Here is his Dryden schedule:
Sunday Sept. 13th: Timbers Community Church 6:30
Monday Sept. 14th: Dryden Regional Health Centre Library 10:30 and 6:00 at the Dryden Public Library.
*All events are free and open to the public.
