Red Lake Expansion Plans Receive Funding

The Municipality of Red Lake is looking to enhance and expand commercial land space along Highway 105 to attract new economic activity.
The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation is contributing nearly 29-thousand dollars towards an engineering study.
The Highway 105 commercial area is fully occupied right now because of exploration activity and industry growth.
Officials say the funding will help in the draft of designs, plans, surveys and site preparation.
