Driver Charged After Close Call

A close call for a westbound vehicle on Highway 17 near Harris Crescent Monday afternoon.
Dryden OPP say a jeep being towed by a motor home became separated from its tow when the attachment broke.
The jeep crossed into the eastbound lane and came to rest in the south ditch.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
OPP say the American driver, 63-year-old Edward O’Brien, has been charged with having an insecure load.
