Red Lake Fall Classic Fishing Tournament

It’s time to fish, while the weather is still warm.
The Red Lake Fall Fishing Tournament begins tonight at 6pm.
Chair Committee Kiera Andersen says tonight the rules will be laid down to the 140 teams competing, and then they come back tomorrow morning at 7 to start the first round of flights.
The tournament will finish up on Sunday evening. with an awards and prizes ceremony
Andersen says the top prize is $11,000, and then there are prizes for the top 25 boats.
There are also prizes that go to categories such as lowest weight with ten fish, big bag one and big bag two.
This also marks the 20th anniversary of the tournament, which is run by volunteers.
