A couple of food programs in northwestern Ontario are the big winners of the Tbaytel ‘For Good Community Fund’.
The Red Lake Indian Friendship Centre and the Thunder Bay Food Bank will both get $5,000.
CEO Dan Topatigh says Red Lake residents will be able to receive fresh food each month thanks to the funding.
He says the impact the Centre has on the community and the work being done by the organization made them an ideal recipient.
