A new twist to Remembrance Day ceremonies.
A Bells of Peace Sunset Ceremony is being held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Red Lake just after 4:00pm Sunday.
Legion Branch 2nd Vice President Lieutenant Ed Majewski says the initiative is a unique way to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the end of World War I.
Majewski says at the end of the war, spontaneously church bells rang out across the county as a sign that the war was over.
On Sunday at sunset, a bell will ring 100-times to honour First World War Veterans.
Remembrance Day ceremonies start around 10:15 at the Legion in Red Lake.
