Red Lake Mayor Elected Head of KDMA

Phil Vinet has been elected President of the Kenora District Municipal Association.
The Mayor of Red Lake was elected at the 70th annual KDMA conference over the weekend.
Vinet had been the acting president of the municipal organization.
Roy Hoffman of Pickle Lake is first Vice-President, while Ear Falls Mayor Kevin Kahoot is second vice-chair.
Next year’s KDMA convention will take place in Sioux Lookout to help celebrate the communities 100th birthday.
