A significant drop in calls for service this past week for Provincial Police in Red Lake, however charges laid still increased.
Officers responded to 194 calls, down from 293 the week prior.
Call breakdown includes:

-19 Liquor Licence Act
-16 Unwanted Persons
-14 Assaults
-8 Domestic Disputes
-6 Mental Health
-5 Impaired Driving
-4 Bail Violations
-4 Thefts
-2 Sudden Deaths
-2 Noise Complaints
-2 Mischief’s
A total of 53 charges were laid under the Criminal Code, 1 under the Smoke Free Ontario Act and 2 under the Highway Traffic Act.
That’s up considerably from the 25 charges issued in the last OPP report.
