A big win for a Sioux Lookout resident.
Patricia Beaudoin only had to pay a dollar more for ENCORE for a $100,000 prize in the January 8 LOTTO 6/49 draw.
She matched the last six of seven numbers in exact order to claim the big win.
Pat is a mother of two and grandmother of four and says the most she has ever won is $200.
She says she checked her ticket at the store and thought there was an error with the machine.
Beaudoin proceeded to check three more times until a store clerk came over to confirm.
“I told my husband about the big win, but he didn’t believe me at first,” Pat laughed.
“He thought I was kidding until now!”
She adds, “It takes a while for this win to sink in as reality.”
Beaudoin says she will share her winnings with family, do some interior updates to their home and of course “treat ourselves”.
