Third period goals from Morgan Venne and Ryan Howe propelled the Red Lake Miners to a 5-3 win over visiting Fort Frances last night.
Red Lake’s Sean Gula also found the back of the net as did Noah Kwasny and Shaye Sommerfeld.
The Miners outshot the Lakers 37-25, with Zach Willms picking up the victory.
Red Lake is now five points back of first place Thunder Bay in the SIJHL standings.
