Provincial Police in Ignace have released an update in relation to a ‘sudden death’ investigation.
Police say the investigation is surrounding the death of a 37-year-old man from Burlington, Ontario on Friday.
OPP say 48-year-old Alfred Wanzuk of Ignace has been charged with ‘Trafficking Opioids’ and the accused appeared in Court today and is now held in custody.
OPP also say their Criminal Investigation Branch and members of the North West Region Crime Unit under the direction of Acting Detective Inspector Karl Duewel are continuing the investigation surrounding the death.
