Red Lake Police Busy

Red Lake O.P.P had a busy couple of days this past weekend. On Friday a 27 year old man was hit in the head with a 5kg plate, he was transported to hospital where he got seven stitches. Terence King has been charged with Assault with a weapon and breaching release conditions, and is being held pending a bail hearing in Kenora.
On Sunday OPP recieved a report of an intoxicated man trying to get into a parked vehicle. When police arrived they found the man sitting inside a truck that didn’t belong to him. The vehicle had been parked unlocked on Fifth Street in Balmertown. No charges were laid.
