Public consultations are being held this week as Red Lake begins work on a new five year strategic plan.
The first session is Monday at 6:30 at the Cochenour Community Hall.
Chief Administrative Officer Mark Vermette says they are looking for suggestions on moving forward.
Vermette says the strategy will impact future decisions and budget planning.
He notes they will be looking at a number of things including recreation, social and infrastructure needs.
Vermette stresses it’s important for Council to also put its fingerprint on the plan.
He says they want to establish specific goals.
