It’s a full field for the 5th Annual Bearskin Airlines ‘Skip to Equip’ Curling Bonspiel.
The event is being held in Sioux Lookout Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Organizer Muriel Anderson was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Monday.
Anderson says proceeds from the event will go towards the Meno-Ya-Win Health Services Foundation.
She says they currently have a 20-bed facility and that’s not adequate to meet their regional needs.
Anderson notes the target is establishing a 96-bed home.
Anderson says last year they managed to raise roughly $68,000.
She says they have promised to donate $150,000 over three years.
There will be a silent auction, penny auction and a Saturday night social with entertainment.
