A good start to the American Collegiate Hockey Association National Championships for Red Lake’s Sara Dodic and the Lakehead University Thunderwolves.
Dodic picked up an assist, and Melissa Wilcox of Kenora recorded a goal and an assist in a convincing 17-1 win over Montclair State Wednesday in Columbus, Ohio.
The Thunderwolves look to improve to 2-0 with a win over the University of Buffalo Thursday morning at 10:45 central.
Lakehead University enters as the defending national champions.
