The exact cause of a fire that destroyed a new store at Redden’s Camp east of Kenora is still not known.
Longbow Lake Fire Chief Warren Brinkman says the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office spent two days on the scene over the weekend.
Brinkman says two investigators carried out a very detailed, methodical and scientific probe.
Brinkman says it could be a while before they can determine a cause.
He notes they do know the blaze began in a workshop behind the new store.
The damage estimate has been pegged at between $500,000 and $750,000.
