The regional coroner is meeting with those involved in the inquest into the deaths of seven northern First Nations youth.
The Nishnawbe Aski Nation is involved and is asking the scope of the investigation to include racism and the quality of the police search for the teens.
Deputy Grand Chief Alvin Fiddler says it goes beyond general discrimination and the inquest needs to look into how racism impacts students attending high school in Thunder Bay.
Eden says he needs more time before deciding what the inquest will look like.
