The delay in allowing a junior hockey team in Kenora isn’t stopping the ownership group.
Kevin McCallum says he has no problems with the city postponing the project by one year and he understands their concerns.
He admits more work needs to be done but he’s confident a SIJHL team will be in Kenora for the 2016-2017 season.
McCallum says they will continue to work with the City to get an agreement in place.
He still hopes to begin recruiting this summer and hold prospect camps next winter.
