New Map Of Canada Unveiled

Some changes to our country’s image.
Natural Resources Minister Greg Rickford unveiled the new official map of Canada Wednesday in Kenora.
Changes include the names of municipalities and the conversion of winter roads now identified as all-weather roads.
Rickford says it includes several to communities in the Far North.
He notes the map is important for pinpointing infrastructure concerns in the developing of resource activity like mining and forestry.
It replaces the last version which was released in 2008.
