Ontario is renewing hospital infrastructure in the region to ensure patients get the care they need.
Hospitals to see cash include Atikokan, Geraldton, Lake of the Woods in Kenora, Manitouwadge, Nipigon, Fort Frances and Sioux Lookout.
The money will be used for structural upgrades like roof replacements and new windows, heating, ventilation and air conditioning system upgrades, upgrading back-up generators and fire alarm systems.
