The regional hospital is speaking out after reports claimed the hospital transfers patients to other facilities because of overcrowding here.
VP of communications Chisholm Pothier says that’s simply not the case and says the concerned stems from a local man who was sent to Winnipeg for treatment and then discovered he was in charge of finding his way home.
Pothier adds they only send people to other hospitals if they can’t help them medically here. (File photo)
