The Kenora District Municipal Association says regional mayors will not be attending the Tourism Matters Rally that is taking place on Saturday.
In a release the KDMA says they support the plight of the tourism industry because their success is directly linked to the success and prosperity of the region.
However our region has just entered Stage 2 of the reopening of the province which expands public gatherings to up to 10 people.
With this information, KDMA Mayors are following Municipal Emergency Management Groups recommendations and avoiding large public gatherings.
Organizers of the rally have made plans to ensure that participants follow physical distancing guidelines.
