The President of the Kenora-Rainy River Canadian Alliance Association is weighing the pros and cons of a proposed merger between his party and the Federal Conservatives.
While Brian Williams is concerned that the core values of the party may be diluted, he feels a united right would have a better chance to beat Bob Nault in the next Federal Election.
Williams adds that their nomination Committee has a couple of people who have expressed interest in the next election in the new Kenora Riding.
Ratification of the proposed merger is scheduled for December 12th.
