EcoSuperior is pleased they were able to help 17 schools across Northwestern Ontario attain Eco School certification.
As part of the process of getting certified they created a number of green projects at their schools.
This past year the program saw Dryden’s Open Roads Public School students create raised garden beds that will grow veggies for the school’s weekly salad bar.
Here in Thunder Bay, Sir Winston Churchill created a composting system using worms.
St. Elizabeth School worked on reducing their energy consumption and made sure that lights were turned off in classrooms when they were unoccupied.
