An important fundraiser for Special Olympics is being held Saturday.
The Dryden Police Service is hosting its annual Torch Run.
Community Services Officer Denise Szachury says the event is open to everyone.
She is encouraging residents to join them at the Police Detachment just before 10:00am.
Participants will then walk, run, bike or blade their way to Peterbilt.
Szachury says at that location there will be a barbeque and car wash.
Szachury says it has become a popular event for the Special Olympics and the entire community.
