The Canadian Association of Oilwell Drilling Contractors continues to tour the region promoting the Energy East Pipeline.
Speaking in Dryden, Spokesperson John Bayko says the purpose of the trip is to inform the public of the benefits of the oil and gas sector to the Canadian economy.
Bayko stresses their “Oil Respect” program focuses on addressing misinformation, giving supporters a voice and showing the value of oil and gas in our way of life.
He admits their opposition has done a good job getting out there and telling their side of the story.
