Region’s Active Case Count Surpasses 100

The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting 46 new cases of COVID-19 and seven hospitalizations in the region.

Leading the way with 26 positive test results is the Kenora Health Hub, followed by the Dryden Hub with eight, six in the Fort Frances Health Hub, two each in the Rainy River and Sioux Lookout Health Hubs and one each both the Emo and Red Lake Health Hubs.

This brings the region’s total active case count to 117.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit reports 22 new cases making for 63 active.

Across Ontario there are 3,784 new cases.
