The Ministry of Natural Resources is reminding anglers that fish eaten during a fishing trip count as part of your daily limit.
Officers are expressing concern after a recent enforcement blitz on Eagle Lake resulted in 15 charges for over limits.
During the check, charges were also laid for failing to stop for a Conservation Officer, inadequate life jackets and liquor violations.
The MNR notes the total limit includes the fish at a camp and in a boat.
