We will all gather on Sunday to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the end of the First World War.
Remembrance Day ceremonies begin at the Royal Canadian Legion in Dryden at 10:30am.
Poppy Chair Brian Buffett was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Wednesday and he stressed people should come early if they want to be guaranteed a seat.
Buffett says a march to the Cenotaph will follow and they will be walking by Princess Court and Patricia Gardens for those who can’t attend the outdoor ceremony.
Following the laying of the wreaths, there will be a free lunch at the Legion for everyone.
The day will end with a special dinner and banquet.
Tickets are only $15 and are available at the Legion or Lotto One.
Buffett says the public is welcome to attend all events, stressing it’s an opportunity to honour all of our veterans.
