Area residents will take time Wednesday to remember those who lost their lives to ensure we live in freedom.
Remembrance Day ceremonies are being held across the region, including Dryden.
Brian Buffett says there will be a service at the Legion at 10:30.
He’s encouraging people to get there early, as it usually fills up quickly.
At 11:15, there will be a march to the cenotaph for the laying of the wreaths.
Buffett says there will be a free lunch at the Legion following the ceremony.
A reminder most retail shops in Dryden can’t open until 12:30.
There are some exceptions and for more information visit www.dryden.ca under Administration, By-laws/Municipal Code
City offices and buildings will be closed for the entire day.
