Renewable Energy Project for Atikokan

Atikokan High School has been identified for a possible renewable energy project.
The Rainy-River District School Board is currently developing a business case for the School.
Manager of Plant Operations Raymond Roy says they’re hoping to take advantage of funding set aside by the Province.
Roy says the project will look at taking a portion of the school off the grid or selling energy back.
