Ontario is getting flying colours for the health of its population.
A study by the Conference Board of Canada places Ontario behind British Columbia and seventh among 29 other regions in the world.
It finds Ontario with one of the highest life expectancies, lowest premature mortality and lowest suicide rates in the country.
The Conference Board also found Ontario with the fewest smokers and heavy drinkers than the rest of Canada.
We also have a relatively low obesity rate that is below the national average.
