Residents Reporting Scams

Local residents are being warned of 2-possible scams circulating the
area.
One resident received a call from an International company advising her
that she won money and they required her banking information in order to
desposit the winnings.
Police were also contacted by a person who received correspondence
from what appeared to be a collection agency requesting credit card
information.
Both are believed to be scams and the public is reminded to never give
out banking information.
