Sioux Lookout Meeting with Province on Road Issue

The Town of Sioux Lookout is trying to convince the Province to take
back half the responsibility of maintaining certain roads in the area.
The Municipality took on the sole responsibility of several roads in
1998, ending an agreement with the government.
Mayor Kathy Poling says she is feeling optimistic following a meeting
with Minister Donna Cansfield.
Cansfield toured Goodie Lake, Frenchman’s Head and Pelican Falls roads
and guaranteed a resolution of some kind.
