Resolute Set To Hold Important Events In Ignace

Resolute Forest Products will have a significant presence in Ignace today as two major public events are planned.
The company will celebrate the inauguration of the Ignace sawmill at 3:30.
Resolute is spending roughly 90-million dollars and creating 200 new jobs in Ignace, Atikokan and Thunder Bay.
The company is also hosting a community Town Hall on the future of the Boreal Forest.
Officials will provide an overview of the state of the Boreal, share perspectives and introduce a new online forum.
The meeting starts at 6:30 at the North Woods Motor Inn.
President and Chief Executive Officer Richard Garneau will be in attendance for both events.
