For the second straight week a Dryden GM Ice Dogs player has been named SIJHL Player of the Week.
Goalie Tate Sproxton followed a near shutout against English River with two solid victories against the top two teams last week.
The 19-year-old made 42-saves, including several highlight reel stops, in a 4-1 win over Fort Frances.
Sproxton also stopped 34-shots in a win over Thunder Bay.
Cole Golka won the award last week.
Former Ice Dog Jarrett Day of the Miners also received consideration.
