Influenza has now hit Sioux Lookout which has prompted the Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre to take action.
To prevent an outbreak, officials are limiting visitors to immediate family only and a maximum of 2 visitors at any given time.
As well, staff will be screening guests to ensure they wash their hands before entering and all visitors will be required to wear masks while inside.
Officials stress that the confirmed cases of flu are within the community and not in the Hospital.
Meantime, a flu clinic is being held in Dryden until 8 tonight at New Prospect School.
