Handi-Transit fees may be on the way up for students in Dryden.
Councilor Joe Delaney sits on the Volunteer Board and says they are recommending doubling the cost of a student trip to $3, from the previous $1.50.
Delaney says its been several years since there was a hike and it is needed to help cover costs.
He adds they are also looking at making the service more accessible to seniors after receiving several complaints.
Delaney says a new, larger van is also needed and he is proposing renting out add space on the vehicle to help cover some of the expenses.
