The 15th Annual Kathy Sanders Memorial tournament was a great success.
Seventeen girls hockey teams were in Dryden in 3 divisions with exhibition games in the Peewee division.
Novice division:
1st place went to the Fort Frances Lions over the Emo Express 5-2.
The Dryden Icebergs took home the only Dryden medals with receiving 3rd place with their win over Lake of the Woods Blue Ninjas 6-2.
Atom division:
1st place went to Kenora Surge with a 4-2 win over 2nd place Sioux Lookout.
3rd place went to Lake of the Woods Orange Crush in an exciting shoot out win over the Dryden Machine 3-2.
Midget Division:
1st place went to K-Town Rednecks over 2nd place Thunder Bay Maroons 1-0.
3rd place went to the Thunder Bay Canucks over the Kenora Dyn-O-Mite 5-4.
