The Ontario government is giving early childhood educators a wage bump.
Effective this month, eligible workers in licensed facilities will get a dollar an hour increase with another increase to take place next year.
Premier Kathleen Wynne says the increase will close the wage gap between registered early childhood educators working in full-day kindergarten programs and child care professionals in licensed child care settings.
