Revenue Sharing Agreement Deal Reached Between City And Ice Dogs

The City of Dryden and the Dryden GM Ice Dogs have reached a three year revenue sharing agreement for rink board, banner and on-ice logos for rink number one.

The last agreement between the two expired in 2007, and since that time the organization has collected 100% of the revenues for the advertising.

Community and Development Services Manager Bob Cunningham says they support the fundraising intiativies of the Ice Dogs but a revenue agreeement is necessary to cover maintenance costs.

The City will receive 10% of all advertising revenue this year, 15% next season and 20% in the 2017-2018 season.

The deal follows discussions with Ice Dogs President Mike Sveinson and has gained Council approval.
