The Ministry of Natural Resources has issued a reminder to local
residents who are headed outdoors this weekend.
Information Officer Travis Moffatt says a Restricted Fire Zone is still
in effect in some parts of the Region.

Open burning is now allowed in Sioux Lookout and all areas North of the community as well as east of Savant Lake.
Moffatt says the open burning ban will likely remain in place for a
few more days, unless the Dryden area get’s hit by major rainstorms.
