The Dryden Weyerhaeuser Mill Woodlands Operation is facing a 2-week
shutdown effective August 7th.
350-employees will be impacted during the first week, while 40 will be
out of work during the second week.
A Company Spokesperson says they are trying to balance the level of the
harvest with demand.
The Dryden mill has been subject to extensive restructuring the past
2-years due to struggles with high energy costs and the strong loonie.
