Richards Future In L.A. Now Cloudy

The L.A. Kings have placed Kenora’s Mike Richards on waviers.
With the move any team in the league can sign Richards in the next 24 hours.
That signing would include the remaining 5 years of his contract at $5.75-million a season.
If Richards clears waivers he would be assigned to the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL.
This season the 29-year-old has seen his ice time decrease and has just 15 points in 47 games.
