A member of the standing committee on Justice has vowed to resolve the vacant Superior court justice seat in Kenora.
St. Catherines MP Rick Dykstra met with the Conservative Candidate for the riding and members of the Kenora District Legal Association today, and spoke about the vacancy.
Dykstra says he’ll be bringing the riding’s concerns to the Minister of Justice.

The Federal Government is responsible for the Superior
Court, but the Province determines where new judges are
assigned.
