The Canadian Minister of Natural Resources is announcing a new plan with the US Department of Energy.
Greg Rickford issued a statement today saying the United States will help advance carbon capture and storage technology at Shell’s Canada’s Quest project in Alberta.
Rickford states the government welcomes the collaboration as the latest step in development of this technology.
Rickford also states that the government of Canada has committed over 580 million dollars to the carbon capture and storage project.
